Presenters
Jim Bardenhagen, retired MSU extension agent and Leelanau County farmer, will moderate, “ask the hard questions” of the presenters, and help sort out the options available to growers.
Travis Bratschi of Greenstone Farm Credit Services will talk about crop insurance options for the local grower. Travis is Greenstone’s agent permanently assigned to the Grand Traverse area.
Greg Shy, county executive director for the Farmer Service Agency for Grand Traverse, Leelanau, and Kalkaska Counties, will describe other programs available to farmers.
